In life sometimes we have to wait... wait for an opportunity, wait for a job, wait for a vacation, wait for a baby, wait... wait... wait... and now we find ourselves waiting for a pandemic to end and waiting for election results.  Waiting is not something I do well, but something God taught me is necessary sometimes.  So what can we do with this wait?  Are you anxious and worried?  Are you trusting scientist and the election counters?  Are you trusting God?  Some people say its cliche' when people say trust God or God is still on the throne no matter who wins the election, but it's the truth.  God is still God. God is still sovereign.  God is still our comfort, peace and strength when the world is turned upside down.  So pray today!  Pray for your own peace in the wait.  Pray that God show Himself to you in and through your time of waiting.  Pray that God shows you something you need to learn through the waiting.  Don't waste your wait with worry, bide this time in prayer and thanksgiving for all God has done and will do.
